Slack, which recently won a Crunchie for fastest-rising tech start-up - and had four black female engineers accept the award on stage - has opened a merchandise store where all proceeds are being donated to a non-profit of their choice. Hack the Hood is honored to be the first group supported by this new Slack Shop!
Hack the Hood will receive a minimum of $10,000 from the program, before a new cause is selected in six months time. So head over to the Slack Shop today to get some fun gifts (like the socks above), and help support our work at the same time.
And in case you missed it, watch Slack engineers Megan Anctil, Erica Baker, Kiné Camara and Duretti Hirpa discuss their Crunchie and the importance of diversity in tech here.
