The Hack the Hood SMB Program is an opportunity for small business to partner with local youth, providing a real world client to a young person learning tech. In exchange for SMB time, they receive a free starter website designed by our Youth Developers.
This summer, HTH will build 40 websites for Oakland Small Business - everyone from individuals to non profits to for profits - are welcome to apply. Online applications are open May 1st - 31st. Small business website will be live September 1st. In between that time, SMB clients can expect to engage in a series of meetings, networking and learning events that will not only connect them to youth in their cities, but also to other micro entreprises.
