Hack the Hood was launched just five years ago to build a tech sector that works for everyone. We support under-resourced youth of color in communities around the state and the country to build 21st century careers in technology and social media. We turn the digital economy from threat to opportunity by joining our youth with the 58% of small businesses that don’t have a website. As one of the first organizations in this field, our programs aim to ensure that tech is making the world better for all the communities it intersects.

Work at Hack the Hood is strongly collaborative.  We achieve amazing things not just through hard work, but through the value we place on our relationships with the young people we serve, with each other, our community, and the businesses, small and large, that we partner with.  Come join us!
