Lauren Thomas Quigley, Ph.D., is the Technology Curriculum & Training Lead for Hack the Hood. At HTH, Lauren co-creates the curriculum content and learning experience for students and training for instructors and facilitators, with a particular emphasis on liberative STEM education methods, technology ethics, and content strategy. Lauren is an alumna of Spelman College, Norfolk State University, and Virginia Tech with research experience in STEM education throughout; her career experience spans government, higher education, and the tech industry. Her passion and purpose are to change STEM education through the application of social justice concepts and theories.
