Over 20 non-profit and business service organizations serving the East Oakland small businesses community will be there to share information, technical assistance and answer questions to help existing and new businesses be successful.

A Business Resource Fair of 10+ business technical assistance and financing providers which serve Fruitvale - East Oakland small businesses. Representatives will be there to share information and answer questions to help existing and new businesses be successful. The Main Street Launch Business Bus will be at the Business Resource Fair from Noon to 2 p.m.  Stop by the Legal Services for Entrepreneurs table to sign up for a free one-on-one Business Legal Consultations for entrepreneurs with legal questions related to a start-up or existing business.

Tech Tools for a Better Business

East Oakland Building Healthy Communities

​You are invited to join us at the Community Gathering of East Oakland Building Healthy Communities! Spend part of your afternoon with other East Oakland youth, residents and community partners as we address our community's most pressing cultural, school and neighborhood challenges. We'll continue to go home with collective hope and strategies for building a healthier East Oakland.

What is Hack the Hood Small Business Program? ​

The Hack the Hood SMB Program is an opportunity for small business to partner with local youth, providing a real world client to a young person learning tech. In exchange for SMB time, they receive a free starter website designed by our Youth Developers. 

This summer, HTH will build 40 websites for Oakland Small Business - everyone from individuals to non profits to for profits - are welcome to apply. Online applications are open May 1st - 31st. Small business website will be live September 1st. In between that time, SMB clients can expect to engage in a series of meetings, networking and learning events that will not only connect them to youth in their cities, but also to other micro entreprises. ​
